The Traditional
Karate Center offers a diverse team of qualified instructors, including
an experienced core of senior black belt instructors who received
their training under the instruction of Jordan Scott. The Traditional
Karate Center is a member of the Midwest Shotokan Karate Association
(Sensei Anthony DeSardi, Chairman and Head Instructor).
Jordan
Scott Sensei is the Head Instructor and
Director of the Traditional Karate Center. He is a Godan (5th degree
black belt) in Shotokan Karate and a Nidan (2nd degree black belt)
in Tae-Kwon-Do and has been practicing and teaching the martial
arts for more than 28 years. He is an international medalist, in
both forms and sparring, and a five time member of United States
International Karate Teams.

Vladimir
Rubinshtein Sensei was born in a small town in Belaruse, which
was then a part of the Soviet Union. He later moved to Israel and
recently to America where he now lives with his wife and son. He
began his karate training in the summer of 1979. He is currently
a Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Okinawan Goju-ryu karate.
Ronda Korzon
has been a student of karate for over 12 years. She is a Sandan
(3rd degree black belt) and a national kumite and kata champion.

Ronda is married and the mother of three children (her husband and
son are both black belts at the TKC dojo as well).
Mark Schneider
has been a student of karate for over 12 years. He is a Nidan (2nd
degree black belt) and has competed on the local and national levels
in both kata and kumite. He was a silver medallist in kumite at
the AAU Nationals in 1994. He recently received his Masters Degree
in Astronomy from the University of Western Sydney in Australia.
Currently Mark is working on his Doctorate in Astronomy from James
Cooke University, also in Australia.
Michelle
Schneider has been a student of karate for over 12 years, earning
her Shodan rank along with Mark (her husband) and their son Andrew
in June of 2002. She is currently a Nidan (2nd degree black belt).
Michelle is an AAU National Kata Champion and is the Director of
the TKC Karate for Special Needs Program. Michelle also instructs
the TKC Adult Beginners Program and is currently training for her
Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt).
Gary
Kromelow has been training in traditional
karate-do since 1995. As a teenager, he studied with Sensei Sugiyama
from 1970-1972, and participated in Tae Kwon-do from 1972-1973.
He is a state, regional and national medallist in kata and kumite.
Gary is in real estate management and development. He is married
and the father of three children. His entire family has actively
participated in martial arts training. Gary began his adult training
after seeing the benefits his wife and children were experiencing.
